Hyrox is upping its international presence thanks to a multiyear strategic partnership with global operator World Gym.

The three-year collaboration taps the fitness racing phenomenon into the 140 corporate-owned World Gym locations in Taiwan as the gym operator plans its expansion into Thailand later this year.

Across those 140 clubs, 500,000 members will have access to training, integrating the race-specific workouts into personal training services and club operations. Additionally, World Gym Taiwan will host satellite challenges and mini events featuring Hyrox-style competitions.

“World Gym is an ideal partner for Hyrox’s expansion in this region,” said World Gym Corporation president John Caraccio. “Our extensive network across Taiwan provides the perfect platform to introduce this exciting fitness racing experience to our members. This partnership brings world-class fitness innovation to Taiwan while creating new pathways for our community to challenge themselves and achieve their goals. We also look forward to integrating this into our new presence in Thailand, which we will announce soon.”

The operator’s massive scale and infrastructure will offer Hyrox widespread visibility across its 3.6 million monthly visits and 124,000 active personal training clients.

The partnership also includes direct equipment procurement and establishes Hyrox as an approved vendor for World Gym’s international franchise network, tapping into multiple markets for potential amplified global collaboration.

Beyond Taiwan, World Gym’s global franchise presence across 10 markets, in addition to Thailand, creates exciting possibilities for the continued growth of Hyrox globally.”

The partnership arrives as Hyrox is kicking off its much-anticipated two-weekend, eight-day event in New York City. The fitness race has been leveraging new partnerships left and right as momentum remains high, most recently bringing on trendy brand Shokz as its official headphone partner.
