The annual event Mercado Fitness – Nutrition & Sports Expo will reach a major milestone in 2026. For its 20th edition, the exhibition will relocate to the Yellow Pavilion at La Rural, Argentina’s most important exhibition and convention center. Since its launch in 2011, the Expo has been held continuously at Costa Salguero, making this venue change the most significant shift in its history. The next edition will take place on October 3 and 4, 2026.

The growth experienced in 2025 — when the Expo gathered 9,200 attendees and featured 122 exhibitors, including more than 20 international companies — led organizers to move to a larger venue. With the transition to La Rural, the goal for 2026 is to exceed 150 stands and welcome more than 20,000 visitors, including entrepreneurs, professionals, trainers, gym operators, athletes, students, influencers, and fitness, health, and nutrition enthusiasts.

The Mercado Fitness Expo will maintain its free admission and will once again showcase a wide range of equipment, technology, and services for gyms, clubs, studios, sports centers, and aquatic facilities, reinforcing its position as one of the leading networking and business platforms in the industry.

In parallel, the event will continue to host its signature activities, including Strongman, Powerlifting, arm wrestling, and calisthenics competitions, and will introduce bodybuilding as a new addition, along with various sports exhibitions.

Key professional development events will also return, such as the Retro Fitness Convention, the International Pilates Congress, trainer certification programs, the Job Fair, the Aquademy congress for aquatic facility managers, and the Business Summit, which brings together industry leaders, suppliers, investors, and key stakeholders each year.

According to the organizers, the move to La Rural reflects the strong momentum of the fitness industry in Argentina, marked by sustained growth, the expansion of national chains, and the increasing presence of international brands. The 2025 edition already attracted visitors from Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, and France, further positioning the Expo as a global meeting point.
