QUANZHOU, CHINA — September 11, 2026 — Organized by the China Cultural, Educational, and Sports Goods Association (CCESGA), the 2026 Sports Goods Tech Innovation Conference officially concluded today in Quanzhou, Fujian. Centered on the theme “Technology Leads, Smart Creation Shapes the Future: Creating New Value for Sports Goods,” the conference convened top government officials, association leaders, and industry pioneers to chart the next chapter of digital transformation, high-quality growth, and smart manufacturing across China’s sports goods sector.

Prominent leaders attended the event, including Deng Xiaoding, Second-Level Inspector of the Consumer Goods Industry Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT); Li Yuzhong, Vice President of the China Light Industry Council; Wang Ping, Deputy Director of the Sports Equipment Center of the General Administration of Sport of China; and Yi Xiaoli, President of CCESGA.
Addressing the forum, MIIT Inspector Deng Xiaoding highlighted that advancing technological innovation in the sports equipment sector is essential to fulfilling the national strategy of expanding domestic demand and satisfying evolving consumer expectations through high-quality supply.

According to industry reports, by the end of 2025, the number of designated-size sports goods manufacturing enterprises in China reached over 1,400 (up from 900 in 2014), generating approximately RMB 140 billion in revenue, with digitization, green practices, branding, and ecosystem integration serving as core pillars for future expansion.

Against this backdrop, industry giants (英派斯) and SHUA Sports (舒华体育)—acting as key conference supporters and strategic partners—presented breakthrough achievements in artificial intelligence (AI), dynamic training algorithms, and smart production infrastructure.

Redefining R&D: From Static Hardware to Adaptive AI Ecosystems

A central topic throughout the conference was the paradigm shift in product development from traditional, isolated hardware to interactive, data-driven AI systems capable of delivering hyper-personalized user experiences.

• Impulse’s AI-Driven Adaptive Health Ecosystem: Speaking at the “Digital & Smart Integration: AI + Big Data Restructuring R&D and Manufacturing” session, Liu Hongtao, Chairman and President of Impulse, emphasized that modern fitness equipment must combine modular hardware, biosensors, and AI self-adaptive algorithms to truly “understand” users. Impulse presented its proprietary AI Health Science Platform, which leverages multimodal data fusion, automated health assessments, and real-time biometric feedback loops to transition fitness guidance from “static physical testing” to “dynamic training prescriptions”.

• SHUA Sports’ “One Person, One Plan” Smart Solutions: Highlighting 30 years of expertise in scientific movement, SHUA Sports presented its integrated AI fitness solutions. Moving beyond standalone smart devices, SHUA’s ecosystem connects intelligent hardware, core algorithms, and human-computer interaction. The platform automates customized workout generation, real-time posture correction, and cross-equipment synchronization, transforming fitness management from intuitive guessing to data-driven precision.

Upgrading the Base: Smart Manufacturing & Global Strategy

Both companies emphasized that long-term AI execution relies on advanced smart manufacturing bases, heavy R&D commitment, and international brand deployment.

• Impulse’s Manufacturing Base & Expansion: Backed by over RMB 50 million in R&D spending in 2025 (exceeding 4% of annual revenue), Impulse operates a fully connected digital industrial park powered by hundreds of welding robots and automated stereoscopic tool libraries. Building on this momentum, Impulse launched the construction of its RMB 659 million Smart Fitness & Healthcare Equipment R&D and Manufacturing Base in Hainan in August 2026, featuring an initial RMB 299 million phase dedicated to next-generation R&D and automated production.

• SHUA’s Multi-Scenario Reach & Olympic Legacy: As an official supplier for the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Chinese Olympic Committee, SHUA Sports has delivered intelligent training setups to over 600 Olympic champions and teams across 99 countries. With products exported to more than 110 countries and regions, SHUA continues to scale its “Smart Ecosystem” strategy across home, commercial, outdoor, campus, and wellness sectors.

Collaborative Exchange and Industry Leadership

During the event, leadership from both enterprises actively led sub-forum discussions and field exchanges:

• Sub-Forum Insights: As Vice Director of the CCESGA Fitness Equipment Committee, Impulse President Liu Hongtao chaired the Fitness Equipment Innovation Sub-Forum on September 11. Executive peers from leading brands—including Merach, Jiamei, Shangti, Visbody, Tiger Surface Technologies, and SHUA Sports—explored practical strategies across five key vectors: smart global expansion, digital-smart integration, silver-economy fitness, material innovation, and industry standards.

• Experiential Showcases: Over 100 industry delegates visited SHUA Sports’ showroom and sports park to test-drive flagship products, including the BioFit Smart Power Series, V10+ AI Master Treadmill, and commercial smart stair climbers. Attendees praised the hands-on demonstrations as practical benchmarks for digital and intelligent transformation within the sector.

The 2026 Sports Goods Tech Innovation Conference demonstrated that China’s sports equipment industry is undergoing a structural evolution. As leading enterprises accelerate the application of AI technologies and intelligent manufacturing, the industry is well-positioned to drive high-quality global growth and shape the future of scientific health solutions.
