PRAGUE, CZECHIA — The European Commission Safety Gate warning system has published a critical product safety notice (Alert SR/02337/26) regarding POWER SYSTEM Pro Grip Evo Gym Gloves produced in Pakistan. Public authorities in Czechia have ordered the immediate market withdrawal of the product following regulatory testing that revealed severe non-compliance with European chemical safety regulations.

Chemical Hazard Analysis

Laboratory testing revealed that the plastic components of the workout gloves contain dangerously elevated levels of restricted substances:

Severe Reproductive Toxicity (DEHP): The plastic contains 24.7% by weight of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). Phthalates of this concentration pose serious health hazards, including damage to the human reproductive system.

Carcinogenic Risk (PAHs): Testing detected Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) at a total concentration of 7.35 mg/kg. Prolonged skin exposure to PAHs during heavy exercise presents a carcinogenic hazard.

Due to these findings, the product fails to comply with the European Union REACH Regulation.
