WASHINGTON, D.C. / LA VERNE, CA — August 13, 2026 — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in joint cooperation with Health Canada, has announced a voluntary recall of approximately 41,100 units of G Taleco Gear Baby Jumpers, Baby Swings, and 2-in-1 Baby Jumper & Swings in the United States. An additional 150 units were sold in Canada.
Safety Hazard and Incident Reports
According to the CPSC, the recalled products can become unstable during use, posing serious fall and impact hazards to infants. Additionally, the hanging restraint straps and seat openings present potentially fatal strangulation hazards.
To date, importer Taleco Gear has received at least 52 reports of safety hazards involving fall, impact, and strangulation risks. These incidents include at least 32 reported injuries, such as head bumps and bloody noses.
