Crunch Franchisee, Fitness Holdings North America, announced the acquisition of two Crunch Fitness locations in Hixson and Hendersonville, Tennessee. The acquisition closed in January 2024, bringing the Fitness Holdings NA total club count to 43 with more than 190,000 members.

The Crunch locations of Hixson and Hendersonville are the first two club locations within the expansion in the Tennessee territory for Fitness Holdings North America. They will join the roster of 43 gyms across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Vermont, and Massachusetts. The growth plan for the Tennessee territory includes a new 38,000-square-foot build out of a Crunch location in Hamilton County, Tennessee, set to open later in 2024. “We are thrilled at the opportunity to purchase these two gyms and build upon the great brand presence that Crunch has built in the Nashville and Chattanooga areas,” says Mark Federico, CEO of Fitness Holdings North America. “We are looking forward to building a larger footprint in the Tennessee market and move closer to our growth goal to own and operate 60 clubs by the year of 2025.”
