Li-Ning Named Global Partner of International Wushu Federation

On October 16, 2025, the 10th World Traditional Wushu Championship opened grandly in Emei Mountain, Sichuan. At the opening ceremony, the International Wushu Federation (hereinafter referred to as “IWUF”) and Li-Ning brand jointly announced that Li-Ning brand has become the global partner of the International Wushu Federation from 2025 to 2032. Patrick van Bemmel, Vice President of the International Wushu Federation, presented the “Global Partner Certificate” to Zhang Xiangdu, the special assistant to the chairman of Li-Ning Group. Gao Zhidan, director of the General Administration of Sport of China, chairman of the Chinese Olympic Committee, and chairman of the International Wushu Federation, the main leaders of Sichuan Province and Leshan City, and the main leaders of the International Wushu Federation all attended the conference together.

As the global partner of the International Wushu Federation, Li-Ning brand will provide comprehensive professional sports equipment support for IWUF officials and its events, referees, including sports shoes, clothing, and sports accessories, to meet the needs of multiple scenarios such as competitions and meetings.

This World Traditional Wushu Championship is held in Emei Mountain. As the largest, highest – specification, and most influential traditional Wushu event in the world, it has attracted nearly 5,000 traditional Wushu practitioners of all ages from all five continents to compete on the same stage. This grand event not only provides a platform for Wushu practitioners around the world to show their skills and promote Wushu morality, but also will strongly promote the international dissemination and exchange of Wushu culture.

The high – end fashion sports line “China Li – Ning” under Li – Ning brand also exhibited the “Kung Fu Series” products on the spot. The series, with the design concept of oriental philosophy and sports aesthetics, re – interprets Kung Fu culture through fashionable design language, weaves the philosophy of Wushu practitioners’ being able to expand and contract at will into the fabric, and shows the beauty of being both strong and gentle while realizing the innovative expression of traditional culture in modern sports lifestyle.

Patrick van Bemmel, Vice President of the International Wushu Federation, affirmed Li – Ning Company’s long – term support for the development of sports.
