While the dumbbell is nested in the storage tray, the weight can be adjusted in 2.5-lb or 5-lb increments from 5 to 52.5 lbs by turning the handle. The model and serial numbers are located on the side of the storage tray. “FitRx” is printed on the storage tray and the dumbbell handles.

III. Hazard

The weight plates can separate from the handle unexpectedly during use. A detached weight plate can strike the user or bystanders, posing a risk of serious injury.

To date, there have been more than 115 reports of the weight plates dislodging during use. These incidents have resulted in at least 6 injuries, including broken toes, bruises, contusions, and lacerations.

1.  Immediately stop using the recalled dumbbells.

2.  Contact Tzumi Electronics for a free replacement dumbbell and tray.

3.  Prior to disposal, write the word “Recalled” on the dumbbell tray using permanent spray paint or a marker.
