1. Peloton Recalls 833,000 More Exercise Bikes Over Faulty Seat Posts

Peloton Interactive has announced another large-scale recall, this time involving 833,000 units of its Original Series Bike+ due to seat post failures that could cause riders to fall. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) confirmed reports of three seat post detachments and two resulting injuries.

The affected bikes, model PL02 with serial numbers beginning with “T,” were sold between January 2020 and April 2025 through Peloton showrooms, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Amazon, and eBay at prices around $2,495. Peloton is offering free replacement seat posts that customers can install themselves.

This recall expands on the company’s 2023 recall of 2.2 million PL01 bikes for a similar defect. The recurrence of seat post issues underscores Peloton’s ongoing quality control and product safety challenges as it strives to restore consumer confidence and maintain regulatory compliance in the U.S. and beyond.

Filed on October 31, 2025, in the Western District of North Carolina (Case No. 3:25-cv-878), the lawsuit alleges that Gluck’s video review—titled “This Is The Worst Product I’ve Ever Reviewed…”—contained false and misleading statements about Vulcan’s TALOS All-In-One Gym, a unit priced around $4,000.
