Italian wellness and fitness technology leader Technogym has been confirmed as an Official Supplier of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, marking the company’s 10th Olympic partnership and reinforcing Italy’s global reputation for excellence in sport, wellness and innovation.
The collaboration agreement, signed with the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, formalises Technogym’s role as a Games Partner and signals a long-term partnership that will build momentum in the lead-up to the Winter Games, which return to the Italian Alps for the first time in 20 years.
For Technogym, Milano Cortina 2026 represents a significant milestone in a long-standing Olympic journey that began at Sydney 2000 and has continued through Athens, Turin, Beijing, London, Rio, PyeongChang, Tokyo and Paris.
Across more than four decades, the company has become globally recognised for its integrated ecosystem of fitness equipment and digital technologies, underpinned by its philosophy of “Wellness” as a lifestyle and a social responsibility.
At the heart of the partnership is a shared commitment to Olympic and Paralympic values, and to positioning sport as a catalyst for physical and mental health, social inclusion and community wellbeing.
Technogym will equip approximately 22 athlete training centres in the lead-up to and throughout the Games, providing high-performance facilities tailored to the demands of elite winter sport.
Six major training hubs will be located within the Olympic and Paralympic Villages in Milan, Cortina, Predazzo, Livigno, Bormio and Anterselva, complemented by a further 16 discipline-specific training centres situated at competition venues. In total, around 1,000 pieces of Technogym equipment will be supplied, supporting more than 3,500 athletes from over 90 countries across 16 Olympic and six Paralympic disciplines. The partnership also includes full configuration, installation and technical support services.
Giovanni Malagò, President of the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, said the partnership reflects a shared national responsibility and ambition and noted “Milano Cortina 2026 is a project that belongs to our country. Together with Technogym, a great Italian company and international leader, we want to create something even more extraordinary than what has been achieved in the past. These Games should act as an incubator for projects that can be replicated around the world.”
Milano Cortina 2026 Chief Executive Andrea Varnier said Technogym’s expertise would be critical in delivering a consistent athlete experience across the Games’ decentralised village model and shared “The Milano Cortina 2026 Games introduce a new approach, with athlete villages spread across a wide geographic area. Ensuring a high and consistent level of service in each location is essential, and Technogym’s experience is an absolute guarantee. This partnership will leave a lasting legacy, promoting active lifestyles, physical wellbeing and the positive values of sport well beyond the Games.”
Technogym Founder and Chief Executive Nerio Alessandri said the partnership aligns closely with the company’s mission to promote health, performance and quality of life through innovation and added “we are proud to work alongside the Organising Committee of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. For Technogym, these Games are an opportunity to support athletes with the most advanced digital products and technologies, while also promoting a broader culture of sport, health and prevention. Milano Cortina 2026 is a chance to present Italy to the world as a country defined by wellness and quality of life.”
As preparations accelerate toward 2026, the partnership highlights how major sporting events continue to act as platforms for innovation, legacy planning and the integration of wellness into both elite performance environments and wider community outcomes – a theme increasingly relevant to the leisure, sport and recreation sectors globally.
