Everlast, a globally renowned boxing brand founded in 1910, has announced a strategic partnership with Pro Mountings, a U.S.-based company specializing in gym mounting systems and high-performance training solutions. Together, they will develop and market a new premium product line under the Everlast® brand.
The collaboration merges Everlast’s combat sports legacy with Pro Mountings’ technical expertise in designing and manufacturing structures for gyms, studios, and athletic facilities worldwide. The upcoming product line will include ceiling and wall mounts for heavy bags, modular racks for scalable setups, free-standing frames, AI-integrated training structures, and accessories compatible with Everlast’s classic Heavy Bags and Aqua Training Bags.
Designed for professional gyms, collegiate sports facilities, boutique studios, and home users, the new collection is scheduled to launch in Fall 2025 on Everlast.com.

2. Echelon Acquires Fortë to Expand B2B Fitness Solutions
Echelon Fitness has acquired Fortë, a B2B fitness streaming platform, as part of its strategic move into the commercial SaaS market under the newly rebranded division “Elevate by Echelon.”
Founded in 2015, Fortë has built hardware and software solutions enabling gyms, boutique studios, influencers, and sports organizations to deliver branded live and on-demand fitness content. With over 457,000 users across 39 countries, Fortë’s client list includes UFC Gym, 305 Fitness, and several boutique brands.
This acquisition enhances Echelon’s AI-driven personalization capabilities, allowing it to integrate its AWS-powered AI workout builder into thousands of gyms. Fortë’s platform also connects with leading member management systems such as ABC, Mindbody, Mariana Tek, and Daxko.
Echelon CEO Lou Lentine stated that the partnership will “empower fitness brands to scale their impact through intelligent, accessible, and personalized wellness solutions,” aiming to boost retention and user engagement across enterprise customers.

3. Wattbike Introduces Healthspan Score to Measure Longevity
Wattbike, the indoor cycling brand recently acquired by Interactive Strength Inc., has launched the “Healthspan Score,” a new connected fitness feature designed to make longevity measurable.
The score, derived from a guided six-minute Healthspan Check workout, evaluates how efficiently the heart, lungs, and muscles work together—a key indicator of long-term health outcomes. Unlike maximal tests, this sub-maximal session is easy to perform without specialist supervision.
The feature is now available on Wattbike’s Performance Touchscreen 2 and was showcased at Elevate 2025. A wider rollout to the free Wattbike Hub app will soon bring the feature to both home users and fitness club members.
Wattbike’s lead sport scientist Eddie Fletcher said, “This isn’t just about training for performance—it’s about understanding and improving your long-term health.”
4. Peloton Partners with Hyrox for Competitive Fitness Training
Peloton is venturing further into community-driven competitive fitness through a new partnership with Hyrox, the global fitness racing brand.
As Hyrox’s official digital training partner, Peloton will introduce a dedicated Peloton x Hyrox Collection featuring on-demand classes tailored to the hybrid endurance competition format. The programming aims to prepare first-time and returning participants for upcoming Hyrox events.
Peloton’s instructors have been actively training for Hyrox races, sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of their preparation. This collaboration highlights Peloton’s shift from being primarily a connected bike and treadmill brand to a broader fitness ecosystem focused on strength, conditioning, and real-world competition.
5. Tonal Launches AI-Powered Daily Strength Training Workouts
Tonal has rolled out “Daily Lift,” an advanced AI feature designed to generate personalized daily strength workouts.
Using data from users’ recent sessions, performance metrics, fatigue levels, and personal fitness goals, Daily Lift crafts individualized programs that can be adjusted for workout duration, targeted muscle groups, or exercise selection.
Unlike generic AI workout generators, Daily Lift leverages Tonal Intelligence—an in-depth data system capturing 500 data points per second from Tonal’s digital strength training machines.
Chief Product Officer Jonathan Shottan said the goal is to “deliver the most personalized and effective strength workout available,” marking a significant step in the integration of AI within the fitness industry.
6. Echelon Firmware Update Blocks Third-Party Fitness Apps
A recent firmware update by Echelon has sparked controversy within the connected fitness community.
In July 2025, the U.S.-based smart fitness brand released a software update that now requires all connected devices—bikes, treadmills, and rowers—to have an active internet connection for operation. Without server verification, equipment cannot function even for basic offline workouts or viewing metrics.
Additionally, popular third-party applications like QZ (qdomyos-zwift), previously enabling integration with platforms such as Zwift, Peloton, and Kinomap, have been blocked entirely. This move effectively locks users into Echelon’s own ecosystem, limiting cross-platform compatibility and raising concerns about device accessibility and user choice.
