Company Description
Nantong Tieren Sports Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “Ironmaster”) was founded in 1996 and is recognized as one of China’s earliest fitness equipment manufacturers. Over the past three decades, the company has evolved into a comprehensive sports industry group, integrating multiple sectors such as fitness equipment R&D and manufacturing, sports event planning and operations, sports park design and construction, sports venue management, fitness training services, Olympic preparation technology support, and sports rehabilitation and health integration.
Headquartered in Chongchuan Economic Development Zone, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province—known as “China’s First Modern City”—Tieren Sports occupies an area of 260 mu (approximately 173,000 m²), with a building area of 160,000 m². The group employs over 800 staff members, including 130 technical professionals and 25 experts with senior professional titles.
Ironmaster has obtained more than 500 national patents, including 34 invention patents, and has participated in drafting multiple national standards for sports equipment. It was also among the first enterprises to pass the NSCC (National Sports Certification Center) certification, highlighting its leadership in China’s sports manufacturing sector.
Since 2017, Ironmaster has progressively moved into its newly built Health Industry Park, representing a total investment of RMB 660 million. The industrial park is designed as an intelligent manufacturing and innovation base for sports and rehabilitation equipment—integrating production, R&D, training, testing, exhibition, and logistics.
The first phase of the project has achieved an annual production capacity of 25,000 sets of outdoor fitness pathway equipment and 1.5 million units of treadmills, exercise bikes, and other fitness equipment, with an annual output value of RMB 700 million. The second phase, expected to be completed and operational by 2021, aims to exceed RMB 1 billion in annual output value, further strengthening Ironmaster’s role as a key player in China’s fitness and rehabilitation equipment manufacturing landscape.
